What If You Could Access Graduate-Level Skin Biology Education Without Applying To Grad School?

I'm bringing 7 estheticians with me through my accelerated course in Cutaneous BioChemistry, Cell Biology and Genetics. You'll get real-time access to everything I'm learning: textbooks, study sessions, research breakdowns, and personalized application to your practice.

This is the clinical skin science foundation you've been searching for.

THE TRUTH MOST WON'T SAY OUT LOUD

On February 22nd, I posted a 60-second video explaining why I'm pursuing a Master's in Skin Biology and Dermatological Sciences despite already being a licensed esthetician.

The response wasn't just engagement. It was confession.

4,379 likes. 21.5K views. 313 comments. 1,191 saves.

But here's what those numbers actually mean:

1,191 professionals saved that video because they're searching for a pathway that doesn't exist.

They're not looking for another weekend certification or a $3,000 advanced training with no accreditation. They're looking for legitimate clinical education that bridges the gap between esthetics and dermatology.

One comment stopped me cold:

"YES! This is exactly why our field needs a real second tier. We're sent out with surface-level education, then expected to run businesses AND somehow self-fund thousands in advanced training just to understand barrier function, pathology, and true skin health. There should be a structured pathway to go deeper — something between esthetics and nursing — where those who want clinical, dermatology-level knowledge can access accredited education. Not everyone wants that, but the option should exist. Our industry would be stronger, safer, and more respected if it did."

She's right.

The aesthetics industry has an education crisis.

We train professionals to follow protocols, memorize ingredient lists, and execute treatment steps.

But we don't teach melanogenesis pathways. We don't teach inflammatory cascades. We don't teach barrier lipid biochemistry or dermatologic pathology at a research level.

Then we expect estheticians to formulate products, treat complex skin conditions, and build businesses all while operating from a knowledge base that was never designed to go that deep.

Here's what I realized:

If I'm going to formulate responsibly for melanated skin, I can't rely on surface knowledge.

If I'm going to influence this industry long-term, I need to sit at the intersection of beauty and dermatology, not just as a brand founder, but as someone educated beyond what my esthetics license could afford me.

So on June 15th, I'm starting a 4-week intensive graduate course: Cutaneous Biochemistry, Cell Biology and Genetics.

This isn't a weekend workshop. This is a 3-credit-hour university course that costs $8,000+

This is the foundation that sets you up for clinical dermatology.

And I'm bringing 7 estheticians with me.

 WHAT THIS IS

(AND WHAT IT ISN'T)

This is not a course I created.

This is not surface-level protocol training.

This is not another certification that looks good on Instagram but doesn't actually deepen through knowledge.

This is graduate-level skin science, translated for estheticians who are ready to go deeper in real-time.

You're not waiting for me to finish my degree and then teach you. You're getting access to my education as I'm learning it with personalized application to your practice, your clients, and your business.

Here's what that actually looks like.

WHAT YOU GET

4 LIVE STUDY SESSIONS (Wednesdays at 6 PM EST)

Every week during my course, I'll host a 90-minute live session breaking down what I learned that week:

  • June 18: Week 1: Cutaneous biochemistry foundations
  • June 25: Week 2: Cell biology and skin structure
  • July 2: Week 3: Genetics and skin function
  • July 9: Week 4: Integration and clinical application

Format: 60 minutes of teaching + 30 minutes of Q&A

All sessions are recorded — if you can't attend live, you'll have lifetime access to replays.

2 APPLICATION LABS (Live Workshops)

This isn't just theory. You're learning how to apply clinical skin science to your actual practice.

June 25 (Week 2): Application Lab #1

  • Translate Week 1 & 2 concepts into real client scenarios
  • Treatment protocol development using biochemistry principles
  • Skin assessment through a clinical lens

July 9 (Week 4): Final Application Lab

  • Pull everything together
  • Case study breakdowns
  • Formulation ingredient analysis using genetics and cell biology

2 hours each. Recorded for replay.

COMPLETE RESOURCE VAULT

You get access to everything I'm using to study:

  •  Textbook chapter summaries and key takeaways
  •  Lecture notes (simplified and organized for application)
  •  Research articles and studies I'm reading
  • Vocabulary lists and glossaries (no more guessing what terms mean)
  • Study guides I create for my own exam prep

This is graduate-level content made accessible.

PRIVATE COMMUNITY ACCESS (June 15–July 31)

A dedicated space where you can:

  • Ask questions between sessions
  • Discuss concepts with peers
  • Share client case studies
  • Get real-time support as you apply what you're learning

Plus, I'll drop weekly voice notes or short videos sharing what I'm learning in real-time: the unfiltered insights, the "aha" moments, the connections I'm making.

BONUS: EXAM PREP MATERIALS (July 10-16)

The week after my course ends, I'm studying for my final exam.

You get access to everything I'm using to prepare:

  • Comprehensive study materials
  • Final review session (July 14) where I consolidate everything
  • The clinical knowledge I need to pass my exam = the knowledge you need to elevate your practice

1:1 PERSONALIZED SESSION (Post-Program)

After the intensive ends, you get one 60-minute private session with me.

This is where we customize everything to YOUR practice:

  • Review your client cases through a clinical lens
  • Analyze your product formulations using biochemistry principles
  • Develop treatment protocols based on skin biology
  • Answer your specific questions about application

This isn't generic. This is personalized to your business, your clients, and your goals.

WHO THIS IS FOR

This intensive is for estheticians who:

✔ Are tired of surface-level knowledge and want to understand skin at a cellular level

Want clinical credibility when speaking to clients, dermatologists, or brand partners

Are formulating products and need to understand biochemistry, not just ingredient lists

Saved that TikTok video because they're ready for the pathway that doesn't exist yet

Are serious professionals who invest in their education, not just their Instagram aesthetic

WHO THIS IS NOT FOR

This intensive is not for estheticians who:

✘ People looking for quick tips or hacks

Estheticians who just want another certificate to post on social media

Estheticians who want trend based education

Anyone who isn't ready to engage with graduate-level content

Estheticians who want to make small impact

Estheticians who solely rely on brand training

This is intensive. This is clinical. This is the real work.

WHY ME?

I'm Ja'Kelli Unique— licensed esthetician, indie brand founder of Skinostics, and graduate student in Skin Biology and Dermatological Sciences.

My career sits at the intersection of beauty and dermatology, and I've been educated beyond what my esthetics license could afford me.

Here's what makes this different:

I'm not teaching theory I learned years ago.

I'm not regurgitating surface-level concepts from a weekend training.

I'm learning graduate-level skin science right now and you're getting access to it in real-time.

I'm translating complex biochemistry, cell biology, and genetics into practical, applicable knowledge for estheticians who are ready to go deeper.

When 21,500 people watched that TikTok and 1,191 saved it, they weren't just engaging with content.

They were asking for a pathway.

This is it.
